No Kids Allowed 2024 – Bermuda – Day 3

On day 3 of our cruise, we arrived in Bermuda at 10:30am, so we took advantage of the free morning and did the Art at Sea workshop. We were supposed to paint the Northern Lights in a forest, but it turned out more like a rainbow … lol

After we docked, we bought a beach transfer and headed to Horseshoe Bay. It is famous for it’s blue water and pink-tinted sand. We brought along Willy P and Spuddy Buddy

We didn’t get in much swimming as there were rip tides, so lots of wading in the waves.

We took a short walk to an adjacent beach called Water Rocks, which was less crowded

The landscape definitely lived up to the name Water Rocks…

It was a warm afternoon and the shade from the rocks was welcome

Then, Jodi and Wade had fun recreating the The Little Mermaid pose

We headed back to Horseshoe Bay to catch the beach shuttle back to the ship, but had to draw a sand heart!!

The ship was docked at Kings Wharf, which is part of the Royal Naval Dockyard.

After a quick change of our clothes, we headed to the pier, where we met the Jolly Roger.

It would be an evening of night fishing

Wade caught the first of many Silk Snappers. The tour was catch and release.

Jim caught the most fish at 14. Jodi also caught an eel. When she pulled it out of the water and realized what it was, she screamed, then Cindy screamed and the pole got flicked and the eel flew off.

Wade caught a “doctor” fish. The tail is extremely poisonous. He also caught a Palometa. We were told they are very good to eat.

It was an amazing night with an amazing sunset.

It started to get dark and we could see our ship all lit up.

Even in the dark, Jim was very patient and caught the last fish of the night.

What a fun night of fishing. We head back to the pier and had a great view of the NCL Gem.

The Jolly Roger crew had helped us Build Memories that we would not soon forget.
