Spring Break 2023-Part 2…Sea World-through the Eyes of a Child

With our two day pass, we had explored Busch Garden in Tampa Bay. We took a day off to rest and then spent the second day at Sea World in Orlando. Our package included unlimited meals 🙂

Sea World Orlando opened in 1973. It covers 200 acres and has 17 different rides and up to 11 daily shows, depending on the season.

We started the day, by watching the dolphins in the “Nursery”.

We then tried touching a Manta Ray. Kaylee needed a bit of help with her short arms.

You just never know who might fly in to say hello!!

We enjoyed watching the the “little” sharks

The Manatees were pretty cool… Sara was rescued 28 years ago and is now the “mother” to the newly rescued Manatees.

We watched a fun dolphin show.

We visited Antarctica and ate lunch…Meal #1…lol (Jade tried to walk like a penguin)

Kaylee wasn’t so sure about the glass floor in the aquarium but she did enjoy talking about the fish.

The seal show was one of Kaylee’s favorite activity.

We all loved the Orca show

More sharks, big sharks!!

There were even Beluga whales that we could watch from up above and underneath the water

Sea World has a Sesame Street area that opened in 2019. Cindy was the most excited to be at Sesame Street…lol We did bring along Spuddy to enjoy the day.

Sesame Street brought back so many wonderful memories, but created so many new ones with Kaylee

And who doesn’t love Big Bird!!

We were there just in time for the Party Parade. Just before the parade started, they sprayed the crowd with water. It was a nice distraction, as sometimes it is hard to be patient.

The parade had all the sesame Street characters.

There was even a dance party in the middle of the parade!!

And of course you have to ride a few rides.

And there was more food…gotta use that meal plan 🙂

What an amazing day, exploring Sea World with our granddaughter Kaylee.
