We started our Sea Day at the Royal Gathering where you meet the Disney Princesses…
Jodi’s favorite princess is Belle, but it was Uncle Mike who got the most enjoyment from talking to her.
Moana was very gracious to sign Kaylee’s book
Cindy’s favorite princess is Cinderella
After the Royal Gathering, we had a brunch reservation at the Palo restaurant and on the way there, we met Minnie in the elevator and Goofy on the stairs. That is one of the cool things about a Disney cruise, there is ample opportunity to meet characters.
Palo is an adult only venue, which was a great way to celebrate Uncle Mike’s 80th birthday in style. The Disney Wish has a child care service so that took care of Kaylee. Whitney and Wyatt went to the Kid’s Club and had a blast.
The restaurant theme is Beauty and the Beast, which Jodi loved!!
We had a private room and an amazing wait staff.
We started with Disney’s Sparkling Apple Cider that looked like a flowing lava lamp. It was really good. We enjoyed a sample plate of seafood.
Then there was pizza and an antipasto plate
There was a breakfast selection and a main course
There were numerous dessert selections and a special one for Uncle Mike
It had been a great brunch of lots of delicious food and laughter. We gathered the kids and headed to the front of the ship for pictures and Titanic poses.
Everyone got in on the fun.
Since the first night of the cruise, we had been trying to finish the Digital scavenger hunt. Jade had been our leader and it was now or never.
By collecting the four crystals we were invited to the final challenge, rescue Micky and Minnie. It involved sending wishes and then Mickey and Minnie came to say thank you.
Our final dinner on the Disney Wish, was at the Frozen Restaurant. Our waiters, Jonathan and Niemh, had been wonderful the entire week.
There was a very cute Frozen show before dinner.
The characters then came to our table.
Dinner was delicious
After dinner and before the show, we enjoyed walking the ship to see all the Disney magical interior.
We enjoyed the evening show of Aladdin
We took the last of our onboard pictures…
Then we watched the “last wish”
The next morning was disembarkation day…at breakfast we were treated to Mickey’s ketchup…lol
It had been a fast and furious 5 days, but so much fun and so many memories. Part of our group would head home, and part were staying a few extra days in Orlando.
