No Parents Allowed Cruise-Final Day

Our 4th No Parents Allowed cruise was coming to an end. Our previous NPA trips have been to Disney World, Universal Studios, and Great Wolf Lodge. Covid interfered for a few years, but we are back on track. These trips have been so amazing as we learn more about our grandkids, and create life-long memories.

Our last day on the cruise, we ate breakfast in the dining room.

We had ordered a magnetic wall decoration for our door. It did get us questioned, since it says No Parents Allowed, and the cruise personnel were concerned about accompanied children…lol. We always take a dry erase board to keep us on track with activities.

The towel animals were a huge hit with Whitney and Wyatt

Since this was the grandkids first cruise, we bought the port pictures

The worst part of a cruise is the last night, where you have to put out your bags, because you know you are going home. We comforted ourselves with a game of shuffle board.

We then headed to the pool area, to watch Maverick Top Gun on the big outdoor screen. Whitney enjoyed her 41st soft ice cream cone!!

We entered the Mississippi River channel at about 10:30pm and it takes about 8 hours to reach New Orleans.

Our room steward was awesome, so we left him a note and our own towel creation.

We found a Cafe Du Monde at the airport as well as a Smoothie King. (Wyatt didn’t want to get his hands sticky so he had Poppy give him a bite)

It had been a great week with our grandkids. We love NPAs and I think their parents enjoy them as well. Everyone was so excited about the cruise, that we booked another cruise for January of 2025, and will bring along their 4 year cousin. In the meantime, we get one more NPA with just these two…no matter where we go, we know it will be fun.
