Our No Parents Allowed(NPA) trip was off to a great start. We had enjoyed New Orleans and our first day on the cruise which was at sea. It was now time for our first port…Cozumel, Mexico. Wyatt liked watching the ship dock. Sgt Waddles and Rocky Road, helped leave a message for our room steward. He said it made him laugh and he took a picture.

Whitney and Wyatt’s first foreign country…Mexico

Our excursion in Cozumel was a Thrill and Chill. It started with some instruction and then a 3 story climb up a tower.

We thought the tour was just ziplining, but it included a rope course.

Several people on out tour, decided not to continue, but the kids did great, even though they were nervous.

There were several different obstacles.

We continued to climb higher on the tower and then ziplined from 5 stories up. Whit was first…

Then it was Wyatt’s turn…he was a pro and gave a thumbs up

Jim went next…

Cindy was last

There was a shorter zip back to the original tower

The “Thrill” part of the tour ended with a rappel down from the tower. We were given brief safety instructions, and then Jim and Cindy went first so they could take pictures of the kids coming down

Wyatt..

Whitney…

We all made it safely down

The “Chill” part was snorkeling and the resort had a sign. You just have to take a picture in front of a sign…lol

We had about 40 minutes to snorkel. The water was clear and warm, with lots of fish.

We had tons of fun

It had been a great tour, with lots of laughs and smiles. We were dropped off back at the pier, where we did some shopping. Whitney wanted a string name bracelet. She did not quite understand the art of negotiations in Mexico. We had to stop a few transactions as she thought everyone just wanted to know her name because they were being nice.

We enjoyed the farewell music as we walked the pier back to the ship. One final look at Cozumel. We couldn’t have asked for a better weather day.

There was a friend waiting for us in the room. The kids loved the towel animals. We ended the night on deck, watching the Saints-Bucs football game on the big screen by the pool. Great game, bad ending!!

Wow, what a great NPA day. So many fun memories.

Great
