Our last day on the NCL Escape was a day at sea, but more importantly it was Halloween. Being on a cruise for a holiday is always fun, but it is especially true for Halloween.
The buffet was decorated with carved pumpkins, gourds, and breads in a variety of designs.

The main Halloween display was very cool, with a chocolate cemetery

Jim was a very good sport to go along with my costume idea…Thing One and Thing Two

We had a variety of pictures taken by fellow guests as well as the ship’s photographers.

The ship had a digital scavenger hunt, where you received clues to find the Zombies. You had to take a selfie to get the next clue

At the ended you were rewarded with bags decorated by the crew that were filled with candy…it was lots of fun.

More pictures then onto dinner…for the evening there was no dress code, just lots of Halloween attire

The Supper Club had transformed into a spook alley…Escape the Haunted Asylum. It was a huge hit and had a line to enter all night

…we said that the next cruise might be short some sheets…lol

At the end, Cindy might have screamed as she didn’t see some of the zombies until it was too late

We ended the evening in Spice H2O for the Halloween Dance and Costume contest. So many amazing costumes.

And just like that, the cruise had come to an end…normally the ship docks in New Orleans around 7am, but we did not arrive until 9am. We were able to see the sunrise on the Mississippi River. It had been a fabulous, unplanned, go with the flow, enjoyable week.
